One of the most common tailoring mistakes made by men and women alike is to wear jacket sleeves too long. The bottom edge of the jacket sleeve should just cover the wrist bone, allowing a quarter-inch or more of shirtsleeve to show beyond the sleeve of the jacket.
The problem with wearing your sleeves too long is that your jacket sleeves get dirty more quickly, even to the point that they may fray if the problem is not resolved. Not to mention the fact that wearing your coat sleeves too long ruins your entire look.
At GARMANY, we’ll make sure your sleeves are correct before we sign off on the tailoring. After all, it may be your jacket, but it carries our name in it as well.
