Founded 2015 · Montreal, Canada

Statement Warmth, Fashion First

In 2015, Nicole Benisti looked at the North American outerwear market and saw a problem: “Everyone was wearing the same coat.” Working from Montreal — a city that understands cold weather better than most — she set out to create outerwear that was functional enough for a Canadian winter and fashionable enough for a New York runway. Her first collection introduced colorful fur trims to puffers and parkas, a move that immediately set the brand apart from the sea of black and navy that dominated luxury outerwear.

The breakthrough came fast. Celebrity stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn — who dress Jennifer Lopez — reached out to put their client in Nicole Benisti. J.Lo was photographed in the pieces, and within months Saks Fifth Avenue came calling. By fall 2016, less than a year after launch, the brand was on the racks at one of America’s most prestigious department stores. Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber) specifically requested the Montaigne shearling puffer for a shoot. Today, the brand operates both a main luxury line and the more accessible NB Series, serving women who refuse to treat their winter coat as an afterthought.

The Collection

Shearling, Puffer & Statement

01

Shearling Jackets

The house signature. Luxurious shearling in moto, aviator, and cropped silhouettes — the pieces that put Nicole Benisti on the map. Warm enough for Montreal, chic enough for the front row.

02

Statement Puffers

Oversized, cropped, and belted puffer jackets with colorful fur trims, bold quilting, and unexpected textures. The category that made the brand famous — outerwear that is the outfit, not an afterthought over it.

03

Down Parkas & Coats

Full-length and three-quarter down coats for serious cold. Premium down fill, cashmere-blend fabrics, and the same fashion-first sensibility applied to winter’s most essential garment.

04

NB Series

The more accessible diffusion line. The same design philosophy and attention to quality at a friendlier price point — starting around $400 for women who want Nicole Benisti style without the full luxury commitment.

"Nicole Benisti represents effortless elegance and refined sophistication, focusing on statement-making pieces that combine timeless style with contemporary design."
