Based in Red Bank New Jersey, The Garmany Style Consultant builds a portfolio of customers and they are expected to be a consultant as opposed to a clerk or an order taker. The Style Consultant should work to establish a rapport that allows them to determine all of their clients needs and then show the appropriate product to meet those needs. The Style Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, establishing and developing strong customer relationships, building individual sales volume and establishing new clients. The individual will demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to growing their client base and spend, and partner effectively with other team members.


Meet Sales Goals
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of all store merchandise
Comply with all store and sales policies and procedures
Consistently build a new client base, either in store or out of store
Be comfortable with in home or in office appointments as well as special selling events
Maintain a significant interest in the fashion industry and market trends
After closing a sale, monitor all details including alterations and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction

Customer Service
Provide the highest level of customer service
Build and maintain clientele, utilize store client lists
Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client total satisfaction
Must be comfortable contacting clients on a regular basis via telephone, email, text, and written communication.

Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked
Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
Participate in inventories
Adhere to all point of sale policies and procedures. Properly execute all relevant register functions
Ensure image and grooming standards are professional and reflective of the Garmany brand image, at all times
Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance
Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs and meetings as directed by store management

Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients; acts with customers in mind, establishes and maintains effective positive relationships with clients.

Integrity – Is a direct and truthful individual and doesn’t misrepresent themselves or Garmany in any way

Previous retail selling or commissioned selling experience preferred
Dynamic interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
Solid independent work ethic, exceptional time management skills, and very high level of ownership
Ability to work professionally in a commissioned, fast moving and dynamic environment
Accuracy and attention to detail needed
Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results
Strong organizational and follow up skills are essential
