Lovin’ our local scene

Lovin’ our local scene

If you’re like us, you can’t wait to get the latest issue of Garmany in your hands. Well, this season, we shot our fashion at Fox Hollow Vineyard in Holmdel. Unlike the film directors and baseball players who are becoming vintners, Fox Hollow’s owner, Joe Casola is an honest-to-goodness grape farmer with a degree in viticulture and enology. Not only is the wine great, but the grounds are gorgeous. If talk of grape “farms” makes you hungry, try a farm-to-table meal at the 12-acre sustainable farm, Ninety Acres, in Peapack-Gladstone. You’ll find a superb restaurant focusing on seasonal specialties and a different harvested food every month.

Ready for a little live entertainment? Catch a show at Red Bank’s Two River Theater or listen for high notes at The Count Basie Theater. Check websites for show listings. And of course, before you head out, make your way to Garmany so you’re ready for a night on the town.
