Top Trends From Paris Fashion Week
The women’s shows in Paris wrapped up Tuesday, and we’re très excited about some of the trends coming off the runways for spring/summer 2018.
First off, designers were showing frills on everything from shoulders to hemlines, representing a return to femininity. But these frills weren’t frivolous and flouncy—they were done in a sleek, edgy way that suggested power and confidence. Sounds like the Garmany woman, no?
Good news for those who eschew color: Black, white and silver ruled the runways, even for spring and summer. However, show-stopping prints were also widely shown, for those of you who like a little more flair in your warm-weather wardrobe.
Designers were also showing a return to a more tailored look, with clothing cut closer to the body after several seasons of gigantic coats and ultra-wide trousers.
Sheer fabrics were seen across the board, with sheer panels on some outfits making the trend easier to wear.
Rest assured, we will have all the latest styles here at Garmany, so stop in early next year to get a jump on your spring and summer wardrobe.
