Since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry last year, the former Suits star has become a major style icon—even if she breaks royal fashion protocol now and then—and her post-baby style is especially on point. The Duchess of Sussex wore a loose-fitting linen olive-colored dress last week to watch her husband and brother-in-law Prince William play in a polo match in Berkshire, England, which was coincidentally also baby Archie’s first public outing with his royal cousins, George, Charlotte and Louis.
And the dress was perfect for the occasion—breezy enough for a hot summer day, and easy enough to wear as she spent most of her time tending to an infant (not to mention warding off paparazzi, probably!).
We love Markle’s dress for its wearability but also for its fashion-forwardness—linen goes with just about anything, and is a nice change from regular ol’ cotton. She even wore a linen blazer to Wimbledon this past weekend, proving the material is a summer wardrobe essential. If it’s good enough by a duchess, it’s good enough for us!
