Pile up on pile fleece this winter

Pile up on pile fleece this winter

With a winter as cold as the one we’re having here in New Jersey, there’s really no such thing as too much outerwear. So shouldn’t you be adding a fleece pullover or jacket to your collection of down coats and puffer vests?

Fleece was first introduced to the masses in the early ‘80s, but much like with leopard print and neon and countless other old-school trends, this outerwear is having another moment in 2019, especially the ultra-soft pile fleece, also known as sherpa or shearling.

And as one might expect, Garmany has been stockpiling up on, well, pile fleece. Here are some of our favorites for the season, all of which are available at our store. Just be warned that these are so comfy you may just want to snuggle up and sleep in them too:

  • Rag & Bone’s fleece jacket zips up to the neck, to keep the breeze out and the warmth in
  • Belstaff’s classic fleece track jacket is the perfect middle layer for those extra frigid days
  • Peter Millar’s full-zip jacket is designed with a sweater knit face and fleece back for extreme warmth
  • Vince’s Sherpa coaches jacket has the best of both worlds: the coziness of fleece paired with the convenience of buttons
